Terms of Service

Effective 29 October 2026. Akunpas is operated by PT Jipraks Digital Indonesia, Citra Maja City 2, Kabupaten Lebak, Banten.

This English version is provided for convenience. If it differs from the Indonesian version, the Indonesian version prevails.

These Terms of Service govern your use of Akunpas, including the website www.akunpas.com and the application at app.akunpas.com (the “Service”). The Service is provided by PT Jipraks Digital Indonesia (“we” or “us”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

If you sign up on behalf of a business, you confirm that you are authorised to bind that business to these Terms.

1. About the Service

Akunpas is web-based accounting software for recording journals, sales and purchase invoices, payments and value added tax, and for preparing financial statements. Available features may differ by subscription plan and may be developed by us over time.

2. Accounts

  • You must be at least 18 years old or otherwise legally competent under applicable law.
  • The details you provide when signing up must be accurate, and you must keep them up to date.
  • You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for all activity that takes place through your account. Tell us promptly if you suspect your account is being used without permission.
  • One account is used by one person. To work together, invite team members to your company.

3. Companies and team members

One account can create and manage more than one company. The person who creates a company becomes its owner. The owner decides who becomes a member and what role each member has, and is responsible for the actions of members they invite within that company.

4. Trials and subscriptions

  • Every new company receives a free trial. The length and scope of the trial are shown on the website or in the application when you sign up.
  • Subscriptions are charged per company, for a monthly or yearly period according to the plan you choose.
  • The price, user limit, document limit and features of each plan are listed on the Pricing section. We may change prices; changes apply from the next subscription period and will be announced at least 14 days in advance.
  • If a trial or subscription ends and is not renewed, we may restrict the Service for that company, for example to reading reports and exporting data only.

5. Payments

  • Payments are processed by our payment gateway partner. We do not store your card numbers or bank account credentials.
  • Prices are in Indonesian rupiah. If we are registered as a VAT-able entrepreneur (Pengusaha Kena Pajak), invoices include Value Added Tax as required by law.
  • A subscription becomes active once we receive payment. Fees charged by your bank or payment method provider are your responsibility.

6. Refunds

Subscription payments we have received are non-refundable, including for any unused part of a period, except where:

  • you were charged twice, or charged the wrong amount, because of an error in our system; or
  • the Service could not be accessed for more than 7 consecutive days because of our fault.

Send refund requests to support@akunpas.com no later than 30 days after payment, with proof of payment. Approved refunds are processed within 14 working days to the original account or payment method.

7. Your data

  • The transaction data, reports and contact details you enter into Akunpas remain yours. We process them only to provide the Service, as described in our Privacy Policy.
  • You can export your data while your account is active, including after a subscription ends.
  • You are responsible for making sure you are entitled to enter other people’s data, such as your customers’ and suppliers’ details, into the Service.
  • When an account or company is deleted, its data is removed from our active systems and from backups within the periods set out in the Privacy Policy.

8. Prohibited use

You must not use the Service to:

  • carry out unlawful activities, including money laundering, fraud, or falsifying documents and financial statements;
  • access other people’s accounts, companies or data without permission;
  • test, scan or breach the security of the Service without our written consent;
  • place an unreasonable load on the Service, including with automated scripts outside the official interface;
  • copy, resell or rent out the Service without our written consent.

9. Responsibility for bookkeeping and tax

Akunpas is a recording tool. The accuracy of the transactions you record, your choice of accounts, tax calculations, and the filing and payment of taxes remain your responsibility. Information in the Service is not accounting, tax or legal advice. For important decisions, consult an accountant or tax adviser.

10. Availability of the Service

We aim to keep the Service available at all times but do not guarantee that it will be free of interruptions or errors. Where possible, we will announce scheduled maintenance that may affect access in advance. We back up data regularly for recovery purposes.

11. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect losses, loss of profit, or tax penalties arising from use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the subscription fees you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.

12. Intellectual property

The Akunpas name, logo, design and software are owned by PT Jipraks Digital Indonesia. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service while your account is active and in line with these Terms.

13. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that breach these Terms. Unless the breach is serious or the law requires otherwise, we will notify you first and give you the opportunity to export your data.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may change these Terms. We will announce significant changes by email or in the application at least 14 days before they take effect. By continuing to use the Service after a change takes effect, you accept the new version.

15. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Indonesia. Disputes will first be settled by mutual discussion. If no agreement is reached within 30 days, the dispute will be settled by a competent district court in Indonesia.
